Our project management process – a step by step guide

1. The brief

From the outset your dedicated Account Manager will get to know your company, product lines and customers. Listening to your brief, they will then guide you through our process and evaluate the best fragrance, organic ingredients, and what solutions substance provide to deliver your perfect product.

2. Research & Development

Once the brief is finalised our team of chemists will submit product samples for your consideration. Your designated account manager will support you in selecting the right packaging solution to help realise your brand vision.This is supported by our procurement team to ensure the best price and by our regulatory team to ensure that we are compliant at all stages of the process.

3. Samples

To ensure you are completely satisfied with the finished product you will receive multiple submissions of your briefed formulation giving you the confidence to know that at all stages you are in complete control of your product development.

4. Pricing & Quality

We know the importance of market positioning, with our industry knowledge we can provide consultancy where required to support you and your brand in finding the right fit in the market place. We can find a commercial solution for you within your chosen market which will support your new or existing business ensuring value for any budget. Our quality promise will give you the peace of mind to know that you are getting the highest quality for the right price. 

5. Testing

After developing your bespoke product and packaging it is then subject to industry standard testing. This includes standard stability testing at multiple temperatures, compatibility testing to ensure the formulation works with the packaging you have selected and challenge testing to ensure that the preservative system is robust. 

We can also offer testing to support your pack claims such as dermatology testing, paediatrician approval and SPF testing, we will manage the whole process so it will be hassle free for you. Cost will be give at point of enquiry. 

6. Purchase Order

With purchase order receipt our purchasing team will jump in to action and place all orders for raw materials and packaging. Your product manufacture will be planned based on the lead time of these components. Your account manager will then send you an order acknowledgement and confirm your expected delivery date to your nominated storage address. You will be advised on the standard lead time for your product at the end of the development phase.

7. Manufacturing

The bulk is made using our specialist mixing processes all overseen by your development chemist to ensure it matches your signed submission exactly. Depending on the formulation of your product, Hot Mix or Cold Mix will be selected ensure the desired consistency is achieved.

Hot Mix – Heated so that you can blend oils and water

Cold Mix – Water and raw materials

8. Filling

Your bulk product will be subject to a strict Quality Check (QC) process to ensure that it is of the highest quality and ready to fill in your selected packaging. We will send you a gold standard finished product for your approval before your product goes to fill. Once you have signed off we will commence filling and ensure the consistency of excellence through filling with our outstanding QC team over seeing the whole process. 

9. Picking, Packing & Distribution

When notified that you are ready to receive your products, we pick and pack the required quantities ready for you to collect or to be distributed to your selected location.
